Pictures that never interrupt the day
We work as documentarians: no “look over here”, no pose you have to explain afterwards. And you never have to choose afterwards — every good frame is edited and delivered, around 500 of them. Half show moments you won’t remember yourself.

Film
Nine minutes out of fourteen hours
Nothing cut to music that isn’t yours. The sound comes from the day itself — the speeches, the laughter, a chair scraping as someone stands up. We shoot without added lighting and without a microphone pinned to the dress.
Us
Two of us, both do everything
We are not a photographer paired with a filmmaker. Both of us shoot stills, both of us film, both of us edit. So it makes no difference which of us is standing where — there is always someone who can do both.
In the early years we took on a lot. Today it is eighteen weddings a year, each with our full attention from start to finish.

Stills & filmHappiest standing where nobody looks for her — at the back of the room, on a long lens. Has a feel for the moment just before it happens.

Stills & filmCame from documentary film and listens to each speech twice before making a single cut. On the day he picks up a stills camera just the same.

How it works
From first message to the box in the post
Write
A date and a place is enough. We reply within two days to say whether we are free.
Meet
An hour, over coffee or video. You should know who is coming along.
Book
Contract, 50 % deposit, the date is yours. Then we plan the day together.
The day
We arrive before you do and leave after the dancing. In between, you forget we are there.
After
Images in four weeks, film in eight. Full-day bookings get the box with the USB drive by post, everything else a download. We archive your work for seven years.
Afterwards
“We watch the film every year on our anniversary. My father’s speech still gets us at the same line.”
